Next Generation Networking Architecture, Protocol, Control and Management Studies
[imageauto|Systems level simulations using LinkSimTM programmed for optical CDMA network|http://sierra.ece.ucdavis.edu/html/html/project/6_files/image002.gif] [imageauto|Network level simulations using OPNET programmed for optical CDMA network|http://sierra.ece.ucdavis.edu/html/html/project/6_files/image004.gif] New innovative networking architecture, protocol, and network control management systems are being designed, modeled, simulated, and implemented. New architectures based on Optical Label Switching and O-CDMA as well as legacy network architectures are being extensively simulated. The primary goal here is to achieve coordinated but agile network control and management by using both central and distributed management planes. {clear}
